Kirsten's Stuff!
E-mail me at dragonflygirl at gmail dot com if you want any of this. I'll remove items from the page as people claim things. Items are available before July 23rd. I can bring items to Tottori on weekends before I leave or bring things to the Beach Party. If you're an incoming JET, and assuming your pred agrees, I can probably get the smaller items to your pred and you can pay me via PayPal.

Radio/CD Alarm Clock 1,000 yen
Has the standard snooze button and all that good stuff, plus it works like a regular CD player with built in speakers. You can set two alarms. When the alarms go off they can play either the CD, radio, or a buzzer.

Blender 500 yen
It's a blender. Not much more to say. It's not the best one in the world, but it's only 500 yen and will mix up a nice smoothie. |
|
Espresso Machine 500 yen
You can barely even buy a latte in Tottori for 500 yen, but with this beauty you can make your own whenever you want! I'll be honest, though - the milk forther is a little hit or miss. Still, it's great for straight espresso. Add some milk, ice, and vanilla extract and you have a rockin' iced latte. You'll barely even miss Starbucks! I'll throw in my leftover Lavazza espresso beans and canister, too. |

Dahon Collapsable Mountain Bike 10,000 yen
This is a nearly full sized 21 speed mountain bike with an exciting special feature... it folds in half!! If you have a car, you can fold down the back seat and bring your bike with you. The wheels are normal sized, though the seat and handle bars might be slightly closer together than on a regular bike. It has a nice Cat's Eye light, a sturdy lock, cushy gel seat, and a small rack on the back. You can have my air pump, too. It could probably use a little tune-up (the breaks work but are squeaky, and shifting isn't always as smooth as one might like), but it's perfectly usable now as is. |

Daihatsu Mira Car FREE
That's right, a free car!! Manual transmission. It has a tape deck, AC, regular tires, and winter tires. Shaaken runs out in April. Annual car tax (7,200 yen, I think) was just paid. The battery is about a year old, and the belts were replaced in January. I won't lie, though. The car is old as hell (maybe 16 years?) and not in the best shape. The mileage on it is a mystery - the odometer only goes to 99,999 and it's rolled over once (back to 0) since I've had it. I think it needs some repairs - Something's maybe up with the muffler? (it's recently become very loud), and the idle is a bit... off. But it runs. Rapairing this lump a bit might be cheaper than buying a new used car. If you take it you can have the maps, jumper cables, and other car stuff. I leave on July 23rd and will need the car pretty much until the end, but I'm sure we can figure out how to transfer everything over during that last weekend. P.S. I'd make a terrible used car salesman, wouldn't I? ;) If nobody wants it, I'll just leave it behind for my (private company) successor and BOE to deal with. |

Luggage
Apologies for those who don't measure in inches, but for some reason I have measuring tape in inches instead of centimeters. 1" = 2.53cm. You can do the math. Sizes don't include the wheels and handles sticking out. |

Midsized Purple Suitcase 2,000 yen
23" x 17" x 8" unexpanded. Ricardo brand. I've only used this once and I LOOOVE it, but I just don't have a way to bring it back. The main compartment is 8 inches deep but there's a zipper you can undo to expand it. There are two smaller outside pockets. There are 4 wheels that swivel so it's really easy to roll. It has a handle that pulls up, and a strap that lets you attach other bags to it. And best of all it's PURPLE! You'll never have trouble picking it out of a crowd. |
 |
Red Duffel 500 yen
The main compartment is 19" x 10" x 10" but there are tons of extra pouches. It has handles to carry it by hand and a shoulder strap. |
 |
HUGE Rolling Duffel 2,000 yen
36" x 18" x 16" The photo realy doesn't do justice to how big this thing is. You could easily fold several students into it. There's one big compartment with a divider that you can move around, and a few extra smaller pockets. In theory you could carry this with the hand straps, but more likely you'd want to drag it on the wheels. The bottom is stiff. |
|
Big Black Suitcase 2,000 yen
29" x 22" x 9" unexpanded. Looks just like the purple one above except it's black and bigger. Ricardo brand. Big suitcase with non-swiveling wheels. It has a main compartment that expands, suit/dress hanger compartment, and two pockets on the outside. |
